Katie Durski, founder and owner of Ribbon & Ink, has been a client of ours from the very beginning and we’ve loved being a part of her evolving brand and her gifting program as well. For her most recent gift design, Katie asked us to create a spa-like experience for her clients along with providing some elements for styling since, after all, she does branding and web design for creative entrepreneurs and items used to style images are always useful.

approach:

Since branding is a core piece of Katie’s business, we made sure that all of her items matched the Ribbon & Ink brand as closely as possible. We started with crisp white boxes, incorporated her logo into the box by having it printed on adorable little teacups, and then filled the rest of the box with blush and neutral colored goodies. To pamper her clients, we added rose bath bombs in decadent gold foil packaging, Essie nail polish in the perfect shade of pink, and a wine-inspired candle. To complete the spa experience and tie in the gorgeous tea cups, we even included one of our favorite artisan teas. Lastly, we included a spool of raw edge ribbon in the perfect shade of taupe as a styling bonus for her clients. The gifts were then tied off with another piece of raw edge ribbon in Katie’s signature blush color and then finished with branded gift tags.
